On to Something Different

Last night the company I had been working for and I parted ways. It has definitely been a rocky road. There were many times I was overwhelmed, frustrated, and upset. A lot of times I wanted to just give up. Many frustrating calls with coworkers, and too many late nights. But all in all, I think I’m better for it. I’ve become a better developer, learned a ton of new technologies, and made plenty of new friends along the way.
I started this blog to talk about NetSuite integration. That is, in all honesty, a really boring topic. But I thought that the subject needed exposure, and I was hoping that I could help a lot of other naive individuals like myself figure out what was going on. NetSuite was the software chosen by this company to do our billing and finance tasks. And now I’m not working on that anymore, so it’s on to something different.
I’m going to try to finish the Check This Out series in the next couple of days. It might have fewer examples, but I’ll finish the idea out to give any NetSuite developers out there a fighting chance on making it all work. It’s a daunting task, but I’m sure I’ll come out ahead.
And then I’m going to write about other stuff. I’m not sure what yet, exactly. I’ll figure that out when I get that.
